We have volunteering opportunities within all our departments in all our locations, if you’re interested in volunteering get in touch with us and we will arrange for you to come in to have an informal chat about volunteering.
The purpose of this is to show you around, have a chat about where we have vacancies and find out a bit more about what you want to get out of your volunteering experience.
We will then offer you a taster session in your chosen department to see if you like it before beginning as a volunteer.
You can have a taster session in a few departments if your unsure about what you would like to do and once you’ve decided where you would like to volunteer, we will have a chat about what days & times are suitable for you.

This will depend on what department you decide to volunteer in, but we would never expect you to do anything you’re not comfortable doing.
Volunteers help in all areas of the organisation, from booking in collections, serving customers on the shop floor, sorting & cleaning items before they go for sale or out on our vans collecting & delivering items.
When you come in for an informal chat, we will discuss what vacancies are available and we will always strive to offer a position in an area that you are happy with & want to gain experience in.

This is entirely up to you and what time you have free to volunteer, and it can be anything from 1 – 3 days, we do generally ask that you commit at least 5 hours on your chosen day(s), but we can discuss this with you and can be flexible on times depending on the chosen department.
We also reimburse travelling expenses so you should never be out of pocket due to volunteering with us.
